| Established by Elma in 1980, Gorgona Antiques is the
oldest shop in the Old town on the beautiful and popular island
of Alonissos in the Sporades.
Situated on three floors, the first floor houses handmade antique lace, original old weavings, unique embroidery and tapestries. Antique jewelry, handmade silver jewelry – some made on the premises by Elma - along with beautiful ceramics, glassware and traditional kitchenware are also available at the shop. |

| Original Panama hats, toys from bygone days, books,
framed theatrical posters, and a variety of antique postcards, stamps,
gramophones and vinyl records, pipes and smoking accessories are
all to be found here. The side terrace has a range of original postcards designed by Elma and sold only at Gorgona Shops, framed prints, and engravings as well as a display of jewelry. Moving down to the second floor, passing pieces of traditional Greek costume and antique weaving equipment, vintage clothing and accessories adorn this floor. Vintage dolls and prams sit in the doorway of the terrace which exhibits antique agricultural equipment, rare pots and oil lamps. |

| Moving through the second floor and down a few steps
to the basement where you’ll find antique furniture sitting
alongside rugs, lamps, bakelite telephones and various other antiquities.
Throughout the shop traditional lights hang from the ceiling and collectable plates adorn the walls. A visit to Gorgona Antiques will prove to be an “Aladdin’s cave” experience offering an insight into bygone times. |
